An older farmhouse joined to an Italianate addition. American Impressionist J. Alden Weir spent part of his summers here with family.

Additional context

The Baker family property became part of J. Alden Weir’s Windham world through his marriages to sisters Anna and Ella Baker. NPS materials describe Windham as an important family retreat alongside Weir’s better-known Branchville farm.
