A rare surviving gambrel house associated with Eliphalet Dyer, a major colonial and Revolutionary-era political figure.
Additional context
Eliphalet Dyer was born in Windham, attended Yale, served at the Stamp Act Congress and Continental Congress, and later became chief judge of Connecticut’s superior court.
