A rare surviving professional building with a gambrel roof, Palladian window, and Georgian detailing; it was moved twice before reaching this location.

Additional context

Built around 1790, the tiny office first served Sheriff Shubael Abbe and later Dr. Chester Hunt. It was moved twice before arriving beside the library, which now preserves it.
