Eliphalet Dyer served in colonial and Revolutionary politics, including the Stamp Act and Continental Congresses. WPI also highlights Jude Dyer, an enslaved man in Dyer’s household who served as a soldier during the Revolution.

Additional context

Eliphalet Dyer was a Windham-born lawyer, militia officer and Continental Congress delegate whose public career stretched from the colonial assembly through the Revolution and early republic.
