WPI places the return-march camp east of Windham Center along present-day Route 14, with surviving stone walls in the area.

Additional context

The return journey of Rochambeau’s forces in 1782 also passed through Connecticut. WPI’s America 250 map identifies this Scotland Road corridor as a return-march camp area.
